Black metal pioneers TAAKE will be performing at Korjaamo, Helsinki on 27.04.2018.

One of the most remarkable “true Norwegian black metal” acts hailing from Bergen, TAAKE will be unleashing their “Helnorsk Svartmetall” in Helsinki after few years´absence from Finnish live scene: their latest performance in Finland took place at Ääniwalli, Helsinki on September 25, 2015.

The band will be supported by local Helsinki black n’ roll act Hexhammer and brand new Finnish black metal band Väki.

TAAKE was founded in 1993 by mastermind Hoest and released 5 albums during their long and acclaimed career. Their latest album ”Kong Vinter” was released late last year.

TAAKE‘s 25th anniversary concert took place in Bergen on March 17, 2018 and their recently announced North American Tour was cancelled due to protests and activities by Antifa, as stated on the bands´official facebook page.

TAAKE, together with the Swedish black metal horde Marduk, has recently also been prohibited from performing at Fryshuset, a well known live venue in Stockholm, Sweden during the “Stockholm Slaughter – The Second Coming” festival which will take place on April 27-28th, 2018. An alternative venue in Stockholm agreed to host an early afternoon show with both bands on April 29th.
