After a few years of silence, Finnish melodic death metallers MyGRAIN are back with a new powerful song called “Lightless”. The track will be featured on a three-song EP that is going to be released digitally in November 2018.

The band, which broke up in 2015, revealed back in July that they were working in the studio with Juho Räihä (Swallow the Sun, Gloria Morti, etc.) and planning this release with “zero stress and basically no plans whatsoever for the future.”
MyGRAIN will also be back on the stages to perform two gigs in January 2019:
“Many of you might have noticed that we’ve lately been working with the three new songs that are to be released by the end of this year. We’ve had so much fun during the past few months – creating and recording new songs and just hanging out with good friends. We had no plans whatsoever concerning live gigs but decided that if we were offered an interesting enough deal, we could consider it. So that is basically what just happened.
So… We are happy to tell you that we will play two live shows in Finland in January! There will be two metal festivals held at the same time: JKL Metal Festival (Lutakko, Jyväskylä) and Metal Crane Festival (Nosturi, Helsinki) on 18th and 19th of January 2019. The tickets will be on sale starting next Monday, 1st of October at Lippu.fi. The daily schedules are to be released in November. MyGrain will be the headliner on one day of both of the festivals and the other bands released so far are Medeia, Everwave and Sapata. There are familiar faces in the roster so this will be a special evening for us – a some sort of an obscene class reunion.
We will play a full set on both of the gigs so this is a unique chance for you to hear the new songs live and also reminisce the good ol’ golden times. We are more than happy to hear what songs you would like to witness live. Make sure to be there – we won’t make a habit of this!”
