Soliloquium
BIOGRAPHY
Soliloquium is a Swedish progressive death/doom metal band formed in 2011. It started out as a small side-project by Desolator’s Stefan Nordström and evolved into a serious band after the first few EP’s. The early material is classic death/doom metal influenced by familiar acts like Katatonia, Paradise Lost and October Tide.
Soliloquium’s sound evolved over time and started including other genres like progressive metal, post-metal, shoegaze and melodic death metal. The urge to create something unique and deeply personal evolved over time. Today, it’s much harder to pinpoint Soliloquium’s sound and influences.
