BIOGRAPHY

Shapeshifter is a metal band from Lahti, Finland.

The band has very different influences and musical inspirations and this is reflected in their sound and playing style. They say “we play what we like not what we think people will like…
Their sound is a very real mix of different genres within the hard rock world from metal, punk, and funk.
There is no way we can describe our style otherwise” say the band on their official site.

We enjoy playing live. We are older more mature rockers having been around the bush a few times but we still rock hard!

Their activity is on the rise from December on. Their first EP is out on this month and their first gigs will start on January, 2019.

Their first EP, entitled as “Mechanical Rage” is out on Bandcamp.

This EP was recorded in our rehearsal room  as a live demo. It morphed into an EP. The styles are very much the band finding our own mixed style of all of our influences. So we have 5 songs here that are all very different in style but have that same loud, simple, power of being raw in spirit and design… Sort of how it feels, rather than how fast we can play or technical we can play.”

Recorded in their studio in Orimatilla, Finland by Samuli Sulkhu and mixed and mastered by Christoffer Borg in Sweden.
