BIOGRAPHY
DIMMA is a musical entity whose sound reflects the atmosphere of the long dark winters of Iceland; hard and heavy, yet chillingly refreshing in all its melancholic glory.
Founded in 2003 by Icelandic brothers Ingólfur “Ingó” and Sigurður “Silli” Geirdal, DIMMA has released several critically acclaimed studio albums, most of which have topped the Icelandic album charts.
So did their live CD & DVD releases with Icelandic punk/rock icon Bubbi Morthens as well as SinfoniaNord, where DIMMA played some of their most epic songs with the support of a 70-piece orchestra and choir. 
Along with the band’s energetic live performances, these albums helped DIMMA win the national People’s Choice Awards for “Performers of the year” in 2016.
