Angrepp

Angrepp is a Black/Thrash Metal band from Stockholm, Sweden, formed in 2005 with ideas to create black metal with thrash and punk style influences. Formerly known as Draug for a couple years before officially changing their name to Angrepp, was more of a melancholic black metal sound. Founded by Dawid Dahl and Karl Olsson with Kristian Eidefeldt on drums. Outlaw was brought in as vocalist, and Fredrik Widigs took the place of Kristian as drummer.

They released their first demo “Prepare for the Attack” in 2006.

Only two years after forming, Angrepp was picked up by the American record label Abyss Records, and in 2010 the first full-length album “Warfare” was mixed and mastered by Dan Swanö with the label. At the same time, Andreas Fröberg took over the bass.

After a year, both Fredrik Widigs and Andreas Fröberg left the band to focus on other projects of their own. Angrepp recruited Titan (Bass) and Jakob Hallegren (Drums – Månegarm) and started working on a second album in 2012 with Necromorbus Studio to record their second full-length album. Due to unknown reasons, Angrepp and Abyss Records ended their collaboration and signed with the Swedish label Unexploded Records. “Libido” was released in 2014.
